We Predicted

West Brom

Wrexham

The Game Notes:

Leeds arrive off the back of their first top-flight win at Old Trafford in over 40 years - a 2-1 victory courtesy of a Noah Okafor brace - and the mood at Elland Road is understandably buoyant. The Whites have accumulated 23 of their 36 points at home this season, and now face a Wolves side that is winless in all 16 away Premier League games this season. Wolves' relegation could be confirmed this weekend if results go against them, which doesn't exactly make for the most aggressive of visiting mindsets. Leeds are a bit toothless at home right now - they've failed to find the net in four of their last five home fixtures - but Wolves are so fragile on the road that a single goal should be enough. We’re backing a tight, nervy home win.

0 - 2

We Predicted

Spurs

Brighton

The Game Notes:

This is Spurs' season in microcosm. They've lost seven of their last eight league matches and are without a win in 2026, and the bookies have them as favourites to join Burnley and Wolves in the Championship for what would be their first relegation since 1977. Roberto De Zerbi came in for the bounce, but his reign began with a 1-0 defeat at Sunderland, and now he faces his former club Brighton, who couldn't be in better shape. The Seagulls have won five of their last six, including scalps against Brentford, Sunderland, and Liverpool, and are firmly in the hunt for European football. Brighton's away defensive record is excellent too. They've avoided defeat against Spurs in four of their last five head-to-head meetings, scoring at least twice each time. The new manager bounce at a desperate White Hart Lane? Not buying it. Brighton win this comfortably.

1 - 1

We Predicted

Chelsea

Man Utd

The Game Notes:

Two clubs in freefall, one massive game. Chelsea have won just one of their last seven top-flight fixtures, and no team in Europe's top five leagues has lost more games since the start of March. United aren't exactly flying either - they've kept just three clean sheets in 13 Premier League games since the turn of the year, and only one shutout in their last 21 road games. Both teams to score has landed in every one of United's last five matches, and this has all the hallmarks of another one. The positive news for Chelsea is the return of Enzo Fernandez from suspension - he's created more chances than any other Chelsea player this season. That said, Chelsea have a dominant home record here, losing just once in their last 12 Premier League home meetings with United. Neither side can keep a clean sheet, but we can't split them. A frustrating, leaky draw.

1 - 1

We Predicted

Everton

Liverpool

The Game Notes:

The Merseyside derby is moving to its new home at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and Everton couldn't have asked for better timing. Only Brighton have taken more points than the Toffees across the last five Premier League games, while Liverpool have lost four of their last five in all competitions. A midweek 2-0 defeat to PSG also saw Liverpool exit the Champions League, so the Reds arrive battered, bruised, and short of several key players. Liverpool haven't won away at Everton since December 2021. Add to that the emotion of this being the last Merseyside derby for Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson, both of whom have announced they'll be leaving in the summer, and you've got a volatile, emotionally charged atmosphere. Derby football doesn't care about league position. Both sides score, nobody wins.

2 - 1

We Predicted

Aston Villa

Sunderland

The Game Notes:

Villa come into this one in excellent form - a 4-0 win over Bologna in the Europa League has extended their unbeaten run to five matches across all competitions, averaging 2.4 goals scored and just 0.4 conceded. The Champions League place is within reach, and Ollie Watkins and co. look sharp. Sunderland are no pushovers - they've just beaten Newcastle away and then Tottenham at home, and are genuinely in with a shout of European football themselves in their first season back. But away from home, their approach is pragmatic and relies on fine margins - fine margins that a Villa side of this quality will punish. Expect Sunderland to nick one, as they tend to do, but Villa's momentum and home crowd should carry them over the line.

2 - 0

We Predicted

Man City

Arsenal

The Game Notes:

Title decider. Arsenal are six points clear at the top, but they've lost their last league game to Bournemouth, which has blown the race wide open. They also arrive at the Etihad with a worrying injury list. City, meanwhile, head into this on a nine-game unbeaten Premier League run, having thrashed Chelsea last weekend. The psychological edge is also real - City beat Arsenal 2-0 in last month's Carabao Cup final, and they know they can hurt this Gunners side. A win here cuts the gap to three points with a game in hand and blows the title race right open. City at home, this kind of momentum, and Arsenal looking as shaky as they do? We’re backing a repeat of the cup final scoreline.
